A Publication for Alumni and Friends of the College of Social and Behavioral Sciences

This issue's cover:
Losang Gyatso, The Hornblower, 2004. The Hornblower grew out of an image discovered on an ancient Tibetan petroglyph and expresses man’s capacity to, not only be at one with his physical universe, but to transcend it with his spirit and intellect. Gyatso’s work explores the fabric of Tibetan culture and identity as it undergoes changes. For more, visit www.mechak.org.

The prehistory of Tibet is studied by archaeologists in our anthropology department. To read more about the Department of Anthropology, click here.
