Idrian Mollaneda

Political Science and Environmental Studies

Idrian is a senior from Cebu, Philippines double majoring in Political Science and Environmental Studies. Some of his most memorable experiences during his time at the UA include serving as a Resident Assistant in both Honors College halls and working for the largest student-run composting program in the nation, Compost Cats. As an RA, he has been a resource, advocate, and friend to (mostly) first year students, and Compost Cats has given me many unique and enriching experiences; not least of which are the chance to operate heavy equipment on a regular basis to process the waste into compost, being able to attend annual conferences, and getting to engage with the local community through events and educational programming. In his free time, Idrian likes to go on bike rides, read, watch Netflix and spend time with friends on 4th Avenue and downtown.
