Nataly Gruender

Creative Writing and English

Nataly is a sophomore from Fountain Hills, AZ double majoring in Creative Writing and English. Two of her most memorable experiences during her time as an undergraduate include being involved with Persona, UA’s student-driven undergraduate literary magazine and completing the First Year Honors Project in which she explored the relevance of ancient Greek Mythology to modern society. These opportunities have allowed her to gain experience in something similar to the kind of work and career she hopes to have in the future. The First Year Project also helped her learn how to manage her time in order to complete a semester long project on schedule. In her spare time, Nataly enjoys reading fantasy and supernatural fiction books, writing her own stories, swimming, and hanging out with friends.
