Philosophy, Politics, Economics & Law (PPEL), Economics, and Spanish/Portuguese with a minor in English

Toni is a sophomore from Mesa, AZ triple majoring in Philosophy, Politics, Economics & Law (PPEL), Economics, and Spanish/Portuguese with a minor in English. Three of her favorite involvement experiences so far include her internship at Senator Jeff Flake’s office in Tucson, being the service chair in Historic Lane’s hall council, and writing for the UA’s student-run newspaper: The Daily Wildcat. Everything she has been involved in has allowed her to improve her skills while benefitting others around her in practical ways. Through being the leader of the service committee in hall council, she gained leadership and organizational skills by giving students who wanted to help the Tucson community the ability to do so. All of these engagement opportunities had a tangible purpose and outcome, and that made them incredibly meaningful. In her spare time, Toni loves rollerblading, writing in her journal, playing jazz music and trying new things.
