Career Resources

There are numerous campus resources to help you prepare for your future career and land your first job. We offer two one-unit courses to help you get started. You can also work with your advisor on how to get ready for your future career options.

SBS 295 – Design Your Life

Learn how design thinking can help you explore your life and career opportunities in this one-unit course. You'll develop a plan for engagement and skill-building experiences that will allow you to test your ideas for a life plan that integrates work and personal values.

SBS 395A – Design Your Search

Design a personal plan for searching for a job or internship. You'll gain knowledge about timelines, resources, and expectations of a successful search and reflect on how your personal skills have value in your desired career path. You should take this course when you are in an active search for a job or internship.

UA Career Resources

There are many resources available through the UA's Student Engagement and Career Development program. Services include career exploration, job search tools, resume resources, and interviewing tips. 

You can also connect with employers through the UA's Handshake tool. Current students and recent graduates (within one year) already have an account. Simply sign in with your NetID and password.
