UA Writing Instructors Get Raises

Non-tenure track instructors in the UA’s writing program will receive pay raises this year. The 37 full-time faculty members will take home an additional $9,000, bringing their salaries to $42,000 for the academic year.

John Paul Jones III, dean of the UA College of Social and Behavioral Sciences, which oversees the writing instructors, said the raise is well deserved.

“Our writing lecturers are highly committed, talented instructors who are deeply invested in student success,” Jones said.
