Shoshana Mayden is a content strategist with more than ten years experience working in higher education. She joined the SBS Marketing & Communications team in October 2017 and is responsible for the vision, direction, and oversight of content developed for our marketing efforts, including websites, social media, and other materials.
Prior to joining SBS, Shoshana worked as a content strategist for the UA Libraries where she developed structured content, editorial standards, and workflows for several websites and supported more than a dozen content managers. She graduated from the University of Arizona with an M.A. in geography focusing on political ecology, global change, and Latin America.
Shoshana currently serves on the editorial board for Weave UX, an open source academic journal focused on user experience, and teaches content strategy courses through Library Juice Academy. Outside of work she enjoys yoga, nature, and the adventures of parenting a small child.
