Our students and faculty examine the biggest questions facing humanity – from climate change to international affairs to personal identity and what it means to be human in the 21st century.
Your investment will help us:
- Enhance the student experience
- Recruit and retain world-class faculty
- Expand outreach into the community
- Improve infrastructure
There are several ways to help support the college. Our professional staff has the training, tools, and resources to make the process as easy as possible.

Funding Priorities
Undergraduate Scholarships
We offer 150 undergraduate scholarships each year, but with more than 6,000 students, there is so much more we can do. With the rising cost of higher education, we want to put private funds behind as many deserving students as possible.
Graduate Funding
Donations can go towards scholarships, internships, or travel funds for graduate students, so they can strengthen their language skills, complete research, and facilitate their understanding of other countries and cultures.
World-Class Faculty
We need to continue to attract and retain the brightest and most productive faculty. We must keep our existing talent from being lured to other universities by offering competitive salaries and maintaining high-ranking departments.
Expanding our Reach
Part of our mission is to share our faculty's vibrant and cutting-edge research with the broader Tucson Community. We do this through community partnerships and signature events, such as our annual Downtown Lecture Series.
