Manuel 'Manny' Felix is the Founder and CEO of the AZ Cyber Initiative, a nonprofit dedicated to fostering youth careers in cyber and emergent technology. Manny also founded the US Cyber Initiative, building on the proven success of AZ Cyber Initiative, with a focus on national expansion efforts. He previously served as Managing Director at grIP Venture Studio, an organization of sector specialists advising investors and emerging companies.

Manny has a robust background in the private sector, including his role as a Solutions Architect at Synack, a company specializing in crowdsourced security testing and cybersecurity solutions. He also worked in Cyber Risk & Strategy within the Risk and Financial Advisory domain of a globally recognized firm, where he honed his skills in navigating complex cyber risk landscapes and strategic planning.

In the startup realm, Manny co-founded Pueo Business Solutions, contributing to the company's strategic vision and providing consultation services. His collaborative efforts with various agencies within the Intelligence Community (IC) demonstrated his ability to navigate sensitive environments with discretion and efficiency.

Manny's diverse background spans startups, management consulting, government, and military. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Spanish Translation/Interpretation from the University of Arizona, and a master’s degree in Applied Intelligence from Georgetown University, specializing in Cyber Defense, Law Enforcement, and National Security.

A commissioned US Naval Intelligence Officer in the US Navy Reserves and a former Cryptologic Technician, Manny's professional journey is underscored by skills in solution architecture, cyber risk management, strategic planning, and entrepreneurial acumen. Recognized as "40 under 40," Manny actively contributes to Arizona through leadership roles and advisory or board positions, including the Tucson Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, the University of Arizona Foundation Alumni Advisory Council, and the Santa Cruz County Economic Development Steering Committee
