Harshit Khatwani is an international transfer student from India. Before transferring he was studying Journalism & Mass communications along with certificate courses in IT Hardware and Networking in India. He is currently studying Journalism and Global Studies at the University of Arizona. His current jobs include working as a Global Ambassador, Communications Assistant at Sonoran Institute and Research Assistant at School of Govt. & Public Policy. He wants to work for Think Tank, a research organization or an NGO related to international affairs in the future. Harshit has a lot of experience in organizing events. He has been part of TEDxNUV event organized at his home university. Additionally, he volunteered in the 10th edition of Vadodara Marathon which is Asia’s largest non-metro marathon. Currently he is one of the student organizers for the Hack Arizona 2025 and part of the finance and sponsorships team. Furthermore, he interned at UA’s Government and Community Relations in Fall 24 and this semester working as Marketing and Communications intern at the Sonoran Institute. In the future he wants to work on the research side of international affairs. He wants to work in NGO’s working internationally or in the Think Tanks or research organization. He recently visited the COP16 organized in Riyadh and was part of the university’s team. Harshit has ambition of working in the Ministry of External Affairs of India and his student career reflects actions necessary in achieving that dream.
