Social Media Internship at Octavia

Capitalizing on the foundation learned through ESOC 212, ESOC 300 and ESOC 302, the interns in this track will learn how to apply their skills for real-world business owners who want to expand their reach online. The Intern will be given one project that they must manage prior to the end of their internship.  

Week 1: Introduction to digital marketing and customer service in a digital environment.  

Week 2: Introduction to User Experience Design. 

Week 3: Introduction to the Primary Social Media Platforms: Facebook, Instagram and Linkedin.

Week 4: Introduction Analytics: Facebook Insights and Google Analytics: Is Your Efforts Working? 

Week 5:  Introduction to Advertising Funnels: Mapping the Customer Journey.

Week 6:  Introduction to Direct Response Copywriting for eCommerce. 

Week 7:  Real World Customer Project Introduced.

Weeks 7 – 15: Intern works on Real World Project.

Weeks 14 – 15: Final review and Project Completion.

Week 16: Internship Review and final grade.
