Stephanie Noriega

Assistant Director, Community Engagement & Impact

Stephanie Noriega is the Assistant Director of Community Engagement & Impact for the College of Social & Behavioral Sciences. In this role, Stephanie partners with community groups on and off campus to craft engagement initiatives such as the Community Classroom Program, and Justice, Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (JEDI) Academy. She also serves as the program officer for the Peter and Pat Hirschman Fund which supports practice-research projects focused on developing or enhancing community-based social justice programs. 

Stephanie received her Bachelors of Social Work from Arizona State University and her Masters of Social Work specializing in community development and administration from Hunter College- City University of New York. Prior to her role in SBS, she was the Director of the Survivor Advocacy Program and a member of the Office of Diversity & Inclusion leadership team here at the University of Arizona.

Stephanie is a fourth generation Tucsonan, who spends much of her time traveling around the state as a sports mom. When possible, she enjoys spending downtime with her husband, four sons and dog, Leo.
