Stephanie Noriega is the Assistant Director of Community Engagement & Impact. She partners with the Community Engagement team as they continue to implement such initiatives as Community Classrooms, Downtown Lecture Series and Social Scientists at Work. She also serves as a key member of the SBS Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Council's strategic planning.
Stephanie received her Bachelors of Social Work from Arizona State University and her Masters of Social Work specializing in community development and administration from Hunter College – City University of New York. Prior to joining SBS she was the Director of the Survivor Advocacy Program and a member of the Office of Diversity & Inclusion leadership team here at the University of Arizona.
Stephanie is a fourth generation Tucsonan who is rooted in these desert lands. She enjoys spending time with her family, including her husband and four sons.
