Ana-Isabella Beatriz Madril

Izzy started at the University of Arizona in August 2022. She previously worked as an Administrative Associate supporting Gender and Women's Studies, the Division of Late Medieval & Reformation Studies and the various SBS Transdisciplinary Units and Centers. Prior to working at the University of Arizona, she worked for the Arizona CTE Curriculum Consortium of PimaJTED as an Administrative Assistant. She also worked as a Writing/Reading/ESL Tutor at Pima Community College. Izzy was born and raised in Nogales, AZ and moved to Tucson in 2013. She and her fiancé have three dogs, an Australian Shepard/Border Collie mix named Lucy and two Xoloitzcuintlis named Xena and Basul. Izzy enjoys watching bad horror films, reading, riding her bike around Tucson and collecting vintage View-Masters and Pyrex. She is ecstatic to be a part of the English Department and is excited to learn more about the department as well as the business aspects of the University.
