Ginny Healy
As Sr. Director of Development, Ginny works with her team, the Dean, and faculty to generate outside support for SBS in the form of philanthropy, increased alumni outreach, and opportunities for constituents to make transformational gifts that will affect the experiences and lives of faculty, students, and local, national, and global communities.
Ginny manages the development operations for the College, which include pairing donors’ interests with scholarship, research, and community engagement opportunities. She would like donors and alumni to know that every gift to the College has an impact and makes a difference. Prior to her development career, she worked as a political grassroots organizer for United States presidential campaigns. Early in her career she worked in Washington, D.C. for a non-profit and for a former United States Senator from Arizona.
Born and raised in Tucson, Ginny is married with two children. Her son is currently a student at the University of Arizona. She obtained her bachelor’s degree in government from Skidmore College. She is active in the Tucson community, serving as past chair and honorary hostess for the Silver & Turquoise Board of Hostesses. She is an honorary member of National Charity League-Tucson Chapter. She is active with Women Who Care.
