2023 Regents' Cup Hosted by UArizona on Feb. 25!

Attend this year's Regents' Cup on February 25 to cheer on the UArizona team, who are the defending champions! The Regents' Cup is a tri-university Speech and Debate competition celebrating free speech, civil discourse and democratic engagement at Arizona's public universities, upholding the intrinsic rights of all students to liberty and freedom of speech.

This year, the University of Arizona is hosting the Regents' Cup on Saturday, February 25 in McClelland Hall! The team is coached by SBS faculty: Ted McLoof, lecturer in the Department of English and executive director of the University of Arizona Debate Series, and Diana Leonard, senior lecturer in the Department of Communication.
Event Schedule
- 7:45AM – Kickoff
- 8:45 - Storytelling & Debate Rounds Begin
- 5:00PM - Storytelling Finals
- 6:00PM - Oxford Finals
Prizes
- 1st Place - $15,000
- 2nd Place - $12,000
- 3rd Place (2) - $5,000 each
- All participants receive $500
