Welcome to the College of Social and Behavioral Sciences college-wide career and internship page! This page serves as a central resource for all SBS students who want to become more involved in their undergraduate education. If you haven’t already, be sure to contact your departmental internship coordinator to explore internship possibilities within your field of study. Here you will find a variety of internship opportunities, leadership experiences, and career-related events that are valuable and relevant to any undergraduate student majoring in the social sciences. We are excited that you are a part of our college and we want to help you become more involved and fully engaged as a student. Many of our students graduate and start careers in the nonprofit sector, health and human services, government and public sector, business, and education just to name a few. Professional organizations are increasingly interested in students from the liberal arts because they understand people, know how to think critically, communicate effectively and solve problems in creative ways.
Please check back frequently as this page is regularly updated with new opportunities. If you have any questions about internships or extracurricular involvement opportunities in the College of Social and Behavioral Sciences or would like to schedule a meeting to discuss these opportunities, please email Jesse McCain at email@example.com.
