Adding Opportunities

Add an Opportunity

  1. Sign into the site
  2. From the black menu bar at the top choose “Content” (might need to click on Manage first)
  3. Click on the Add Content button
  4. From the lists of types of content, choose “Opportunities”
  5. Give a title to your opportunity.
  6. The Sponsor Organization is used for showing which organization is supporting the internship or sponsorship.
  7. Next, add the location. This is a text field, so be sure to use the same name and structure for each location.
  8. Next, add a Deadline for this opportunity.
    • For repeating opportunities, try using the most recent, upcoming deadline.
    • If the opportunity doesn't have a deadline, try using the fiscal or semester ending.
    • If none of the opportunities have deadlines, they won't show up.
  9. Add a internship category if you have separate categories.
  10. If you have documents to share or for your visitors to download, add them in the Download Additional Information section.
  11. Finally, add a description for your opportunity.
  12. Save, and test!
