Add/Edit Courses

Course descriptions are controlled by the "Course" content type and can be pulled into many different types of displays such as major requirements or pages listing certain courses.

Add a Course

  1. Sign into the site
  2. From the black menu bar at the top choose “Content” (might need to click on Manage first)
  3. Click on the Add Content button
  4. From the lists of types of content, choose “Course”
  5. Enter the Course title (INFO 123: Course Title)
  6. Enter course description
  7. Under Track choose any categories that the course belongs in (e.g. a specific major requirement, undergraduate list). To choose more than one category hold Cntl (windows) or Cmmd (mac) key while making the selection.

The courses should now appear on pages with the categories you assigned.

Note: before adding a new course, you should check to make sure it isn't already on the site. See finding content.
