Events items in the event calendar are controlled by the "Event" content type.
Add an Event
- Sign into the site
- From the black menu bar at the top choose “Content” (might need to click on Manage first)
- Click on the Add Content button
- From the lists of types of content, choose “Event”
- Enter the Event Title (Subtitle is optional)
- Under "When" enter the start date and time
- If you want to list end date/time, check the "Show End Date" box and enter the info
- Add event description (required – don't just rely on an image or flyer for event details, these are often not accessible.
- Add a location under "Where." Title should be the building name/address. If desired you can add a link to a Google map in the "URL" field
- Upload an attachment if you'd like to have a downloadable flyer.
- Click on Save when you are ready
Note: You can check the "Send to SBS" box if you'd like this event to be considered for the main SBS calendar of events.
