Content editors can add images and video within the body of basic pages, flexible pages, and other content types.
Best practices for using images and videos
- Images and videos should be high quality (professional looking, good contrast, tone, sharpness)
- Be sure you have permission to use images/video from the copyright holder
- Be sure you have signed multimedia releases from people appearing in images and video
- Do not use images that have text on them (not accessible)
- If uploading graphics be sure they are inline with UA Brand guidelines
- Images must Include alt text for accessibility
- Video must be captioned for accessibility
Add an inline image or video
- Select Edit to edit the page
- Put the cursor where you want to add the image
- Choose the "F" icon from the Editor toolbar (for insert Files)
- Click on Browse
- To upload a new image, click on choose file, then select the image from your computer and click upload (be sure to add appropriate Alt Text when prompted, you can also add credit and captions)
- To use an existing photo from the site, click on Library, select the photo you wish to use, and click Submit
- To use a video, choose "Web" and paste in the video URL (Youtube or Vimeo)
- Select Next
- Choose a size for your image/video under View Mode
- Select an alignment for your image (left, right, center)
- Click on Embed to embed the file in the page
- When ready, select Save to save the edits to the page

Edit an inline image/video
- Select Edit to edit the page
- Double-click on the image/video you want to edit
- Make changes to the view mode, alignment, caption, or link
- If you want to edit the alt text, click on the file name under Selected Entity, this takes you to a page for this image
- Click on Edit to make changes
- Enter alt text or move the focal point and select Save
- Click on Embed to save your changes
Delete an inline image/video
- Select Edit to edit the page
- Click on the image/video you want to edit
- Press the delete button on your keyboard
