SBS Core (Class Options) - PDF
All students majoring in the College of Social and Behavioral Sciences (SBS) are required to complete 9 units of SBS Core series classes, starting in Fall 2024 and onwards.
- Explore SBS: Complete 1 Explore SBS course. A minimum of 3 units must be taken.
- Connect to Culture: Complete 1 Connect to Culture course. A minimum of 3 units must be taken.
- Skill Up: Complete 1 Skill Up course. A minimum of 1 unit must be taken.
Double Dipping Policy: Up to 3 courses maximum may count to fulfill General Education (Exploring Perspectives or Building Connections) requirements as well as SBS Core, major, pre-major, minor, and/or certificate requirements.
Students CANNOT double-dip the SBS Core requirements with their SBS major/minor.
