Allison Ewing-Cooper, Ph.D., serves as Senior Director of Academic Advising & Student Success for the College of Social & Behavioral Sciences. She has been advising at the U of A since 2006 and loves watching students grow, offering them guidance along their academic journeys, and seeing them graduate. In her role, Allison oversees the advising team for the College of SBS, leads strategic advising efforts, facilitates first-year and transfer orientations, and analyzes retention data.  

Originally from San Diego, CA, Allison earned her B.A. in Human Development from California State University, Long Beach and her Ph.D. in Family Studies and Human Development from the University of Arizona. When not working, she loves traveling, playing board games, and spending time with her friends and husband.
