Congratulations to our Graduating SBS Ambassadors, Class of 2025!

This spring, seven incredible Student Ambassadors from the College of Social and Behavioral Sciences, who serve as representatives at student, donor, and community events, are celebrating their graduation!
“I am always so impressed with our group of SBS ambassadors. They have exhibited remarkable leadership skills through their work with prospective SBS students, and no one tells the story of our college quite like they do,” said Stephanie K. Meron, director of recruitment for the College of SBS. “From assisting with large recruitment events to speaking on student panels, SBS ambassadors help facilitate effective peer-to-peer conversations as students explore their options for undergraduate study.”
“I am thankful for their energy, positive attitude, and amazing work ethic,” Meron added. “To our graduating ambassadors — congratulations, and best of luck in all that you choose to pursue in the future. Bear Down!”

Major(s): Communication with a minor in Public Relations
Why did you pick your majors: I picked my areas of study because of the variety of career opportunities it offers. I can do anything from communication, marketing, or even government jobs, so I have a lot to work with. My major and minor also allows me to be expressive and creative with my field of work which is important to me for future jobs.
Campus involvement: SBS Ambassador Program, ZonaZoo Media & Marketing Intern, Lambda Pi Eta Communication Honorary, College of SBS Community Engagement Intern
Favorite spot on campus: My favorite campus spot is the 6th street parking garage! I know it's random but the parking garage is one of the best spots to watch sunsets!
Favorite TV show/movie: I have too many to count, but right now I love The White Lotus and The Blind Side.
Favorite Ambassadors memory: Being selected to participate in the 2024 Arizona Board of Regents Reception. It was an incredible experience and an honor to meet the university president, athletic director and SBS dean. Such a pleasure to share that experience with fellow SBS ambassadors!
Plans after graduation: I plan to stay in Tucson and explore my options as a college graduate and alumni! I am hoping to work in the public relations field, so besides continuing my job hunt, I will be traveling, working, and enjoying being an accomplished college grad!

Favorite TV show/movie: My favorite show right now is The Good Wife and I love binging the Twilight series.
Favorite Ambassadors memory: During my sophomore year, we got together for Halloween to decorate mini pumpkins and eat candy. It was so much fun and made me feel closer to my fellow ambassadors.

Major(s): Political Science
Why did you pick your majors: I chose political science because I believe in the power of ideas to shape the world. Growing up, I saw how decisions made far away could impact people’s lives right next door. I wanted to understand the systems behind those decisions — how laws are made, how policies are shaped, and how leadership can either build or break a society. Political science isn't just about politics; it's about people. I wanted to be part of something bigger than myself — to learn how to ask the right questions, challenge broken systems, and someday, maybe even help fix them.
Campus involvement: SBS Executive Board, Vice President and Co-Founder of the Pre-Law Society, member of Delta Gamma, Greek Life recruitment counselor, member of Phi Alpha Delta law fraternity, Greek Standards Board justice, University of Arizona Hearing Board
Favorite TV show/movie: The Lincoln Lawyer
Favorite Ambassadors memory: Presenting and sharing my work with future students.
Plans after graduation: I’m moving to Chicago to pursue law school.

Major(s): Law and Philosophy
Why did you pick your majors: I chose to major in Law and Philosophy because I have always been driven by a desire to challenge injustice and thinking critically about the systems that shape our lives. Law gives me the practical tools to advocate for change and justices, while Philosophy sharpened my ability to question, reason, and understand the deeper ethical foundations of laws.
Campus involvement: President of the Arizona Criminal Justice Association, President of Pi Sigma Alpha, Co-founder and President of the University of Arizona Mediation Team, Executive Vice President of the SBS Ambassadors, Captain and Committee Member of the Arizona Mock Trial Team, Member of Links Junior Honorary, Member of Arizona Aspiring Latino Lawyers, Member of the ALL Leadership Council, Member of the Women’s Network Organization, Member of the Arizona Pickleball Club, Legal Intern for the Civil Rights Restoration Clinic at the James E. Rogers College of Law, Legal Intern for the Innovation for Justice Organization at the James E. Rogers College of Law, Constitutional Law Preceptor at the University of Arizona.
Favorite TV show/movie: The Help
Favorite Ambassadors memory: Admitted Students Day because it is always fun speaking with admitted students and telling them why the University of Arizona is the best place on earth to be a student!
Plans after graduation: I plan to attend law school and open my own wrongful convictions clinic helping those who have been wrongfully convicted of a crime.
Mariana Flores

Major(s): Law with minors in Psychology and Human Development and Family Science
Why did you pick your majors: I chose to major in law because I've always been passionate about advocating for others and understanding how the legal system impacts people's lives. I plan to attend law school in the future, and I wanted a major that would not only challenge me but also give me an early glimpse into the world of law. Majoring in law helped me build a strong foundation and confirm that this is the path I want to pursue.
Campus involvement: Apart from being an SBS Ambassador, I work at the Office of the Registrar as the student lead and I was also part of the Arizona Mock Trial team and served as the LOCKS Junior Honorary President.
Favorite TV show/movie: Gossip Girl
Favorite Ambassadors memory: Getting to meet and talk to incoming students on Student Admitted Day.
