What inspired you to choose your major(s)? I chose the PPEL (Politics, Philosophy, Economics, and Law) major because when I started undergrad, I wasn’t completely sure what path I wanted to take. PPEL gave me the opportunity to explore different perspectives and ultimately helped me realize that I want to pursue a career in government.

What is your go-to spot on campus, and what makes it special to you? My go-to spot on campus is the Education Building library. I discovered it during my freshman year and have loved it ever since. It’s not very crowded, which makes it a quiet and peaceful place to focus. It’s become my favorite spot to get work done without distractions.
What are your plans after graduation, and what are you most excited about in this next chapter? After graduation, I will be attending Indiana University Bloomington to pursue my master’s in public affairs through their D.C. Accelerator Program. What inspired you to choose your major(s)? I was inspired to choose my philosophy, politics, economics, and law major because when I came to the UA as a freshman, I didn't exactly know what career path I wanted to take, but I knew I wanted to do something in the political sector. After graduation, I am most excited to be in a career and start making a future for myself.

What inspired you to choose your major(s)? I chose law and Spanish as my majors because I was interested in going to law school but was not sure if that was for certain my plan. Throughout my time in law classes, I realized a legal education was right for me because I was interested in advocacy. I chose Spanish because I had done it all throughout high school and the emphasis in translation and interpretation could teach me more about breaking language barriers in the legal setting.
What campus organizations or activities have you been involved in? I have been involved in mock trial, SBS Ambassadors, and the Mediation Club.
What is your favorite memory from your time as an SBS Ambassador? My favorite memory from my time on SBS Ambassadors was leading new ambassador training this year. What is your go-to spot on campus, and what makes it special to you? My go-to spot on campus is the third floor of the library. There is nothing really too special for me, but I like moving around the different areas with windows and it is a nice area since you can still talk but it is mostly quiet. I also love the study rooms on this floor.
What is your favorite movie or TV show? My favorite movies are the Harry Potter movies.
What are your plans after graduation, and what are you most excited about in this next chapter? After graduation, I am going to attend law school at Washington University in St. Louis. What inspired you to choose your major(s)? I chose global studies because I plan to work in international development or policy, and with how interdisciplinary the degree is, I was able to explore aspects that interested me while still gaining an important understanding of politics and economics. I chose linguistics because I’ve always had an interest in languages and how they work both in your brain and in the world. Studying different languages also helps gain new perspectives, which I think is vital to our globalizing world. And finally, I chose East Asian Studies because of a genuine interest in the region and the opportunities that come with learning a second language!
What is your favorite memory from your time as an SBS Ambassador? I loved our final end-of-the-year social, and every time I had the chance to work alongside other ambassadors. Making so many friends through the program and seeing everyone succeed in their goals is truly an inspiring and exciting experience.
What is your go-to spot on campus, and what makes it special to you? Inside ENR2 is always such a cool spot to study, it's beautiful and has a fresh feeling to it that I just love. I have had some amazing classes through the geography department in this building, and because of the plant life and ambiance, it reminds me of my hometown.
What is your favorite movie or TV show? Criminal Minds!
What are your plans after graduation, and what are you most excited about in this next chapter? I am so happy to announce I will be working as a Peace Corps Volunteer in North Macedonia for the next two years teaching English! I am very excited to be moving to another country and gain more experience in the education and language fields. Upon my return I hope to work towards a master’s degree in international development and policy.

What inspired you to choose your major(s)? I started out as an environmental science major but quickly realized it was more focused on the scientific aspects of the environment than on the relationship between people and the environment. When I switched to environmental studies, I knew it was the right decision. I had more freedom to take the classes I was truly interested in, and I was able to add a minor in marine science, which was nonnegotiable for me. Eventually, I also added a B.S. in geography, turning my path into a dual degree. I’ve always loved learning about the environment, and geography opened an entirely new perspective I hadn’t explored before. Like many people, I initially thought geography was just about memorizing states and countries, but it’s so much more than that; it’s about understanding the connections between people, place, and the planet.
What campus organizations or activities have you been involved in? I’ve been heavily involved during my four years at the University of Arizona. I participated in the honorary system through Freshman Class Council (FCC), Spurs Sophomore Honorary, and Mortar Board, and I even had the opportunity to lead FCC during my junior year. I was also involved in AZ Ambassadors, serving as a campus tour guide, and joined Epsilon Eta as a member of its Alpha Class. I’m a proud brother of Beta Theta Pi, a fraternity that recently returned to campus. Academically, I was honored to be initiated into Phi Beta Kappa, the oldest academic honor society in the United States. And of course, saving the best for last, I also serve as an SBS Ambassador, representing the College of Social and Behavioral Sciences.
What is your go-to spot on campus, and what makes it special to you? I might be a bit biased since I spent the past four years studying and working there, but ENR2 will always be my favorite spot on campus. Within the building, my favorite place is the rooftop. It’s a hidden gem that not many people know about, and it’s been my go-to place to study, read, listen to music, and decompress. The views from the roof are incredible — you can see not only campus but all of Tucson. It’s a space that feels both peaceful and inspiring, and it’s something I’ll miss the most.
What are your plans after graduation, and what are you most excited about in this next chapter? After graduation, I will be interning at Dauphin Island Sea Lab in Alabama, the state’s primary marine education and research center. I’ll be working in Discovery Hall, which hosts classes, field trips, and summer programs for K–12 students and educators. The program focuses on hands-on learning to promote conservation and increase public understanding of our oceans. At the end of the summer, I’ll be heading off to pursue my graduate degree. I’m especially excited to continue building on my passion for environmental education and conservation while exploring new opportunities in this next chapter.

What inspired you to choose your major(s)? When I first started at the University of Arizona, I knew that I wanted to attend law school! I was sure the BA in Law program would provide me with a foundational understanding of the concepts I’d be learning in law school, and I feel more prepared than ever to start law school right after I graduate this May. I’ve also enjoyed pairing this experience with the courses for my BA in political science, which have strengthened my written and oral communication skills.
What campus organizations or activities have you been involved in? Apart from the SBS Ambassador and W.A. Franke Honors Ambassadors programs, one of my favorite involvements has been competing for the Arizona Mock Trial Program! This club has been the highlight of my undergraduate experience, and I’m so grateful for all the friends and memories I’ve made these past few years. Mock trial has become my home away from home, and it’s what I’ll miss most (but what I also hope to continue) during law school.
What is your favorite memory from your time as an SBS Ambassador? My favorite memory from my time as an SBS Ambassador has been serving as president and recruiting so many amazing new members over the past few years. Having joined the program my freshman year, I’ve been able to watch it grow in its incredible support for prospective students and their families. It’s also been amazing to connect with fellow ambassadors, who have become some of my close friends and have supported me both as a leader and a person.
What is your favorite movie or TV show? My all-time favorite movie is Megamind — a true work of art.
What are your plans after graduation, and what are you most excited about in this next chapter? After completing an internship in Seattle this summer, I’m headed to law school! Although I’m still deciding on which school to attend, I’m so excited for this next part of my journey toward my career as a trial attorney. Trial advocacy has become a passion of mine these past few years, and I’m looking forward to addressing community-based violence in a way that creates lasting change. While I still have a way to go, I’m looking forward to every step ahead.
