David Yetman To Be Inducted Into Academy of Television Arts and Sciences

David Yetman, a research social scientist in the Southwest Center, will be inducted into the National Academy of Television Art and Sciences Silver Circle on September 21, for the Emmy Award-winning PBS series, In the Americas with David Yetman, which he hosts and produces. Dan Duncan, a television producer and director at the Southwest Center, is the show's videographer and co-producer. 

In the Americas with David Yetman uncovers the geographic and cultural diversity of the lands that make up much of the Western Hemisphere. Each country contains landscapes, peoples, and history that have not received the attention they deserve on the world stage and Yetman's team uncovers the geographic and cultural diversity of the Americas.

The 11th season is set to air on PBS this fall.
