Empowering students to succeed in their educational and life goals is my passion. Supporting students to develop a sense of belonging and connection along their journey makes my job worthwhile. I am an academic advisor for online undergraduate programs in the College of Social and Behavioral Sciences at the University of Arizona. I have 10+ years of experience in academic advising and developing and designing efforts and strategies to improve and enhance student experiences, recruitment, and retention at small, private colleges. At UA, I am part of an innovative and close-knit team focused on advising online students in SBS majors. I am a first-generation college graduate and professional.
